We live and work alongside our NGO partners in situations of armed conflict or chronic insecurity providing real time, front-line support to humanitarian aid operations.
We start all platforms at the written request of the NGOs operating in that country and are mandated to respond anywhere in the world that the community needs us.
Response
Responding to NGOs’ needs in new crisis
When a new conflict or crisis emerges, NGOs can struggle to deliver their programming and keep track of the deteriorating situation.
In this case, they can request INSO to assess the situation and where necessary establish a new support platform.
The suspension of USAID funding poses an unprecedented challenge for the humanitarian community.
Whilst we're forced to adapt, we're ensuring the continuation of our essential services to keep aid workers safe.
