INSO World Alert is a special reporting service that is for the exclusive use of NGO HQ level staff providing them with a comprehensive global monitoring capability.
World Alert integrates all our daily reporting into one easy to use email-based digest that is released across the list once per day. Members can browse the daily reports that interest them while retaining a searchable digital archive.
Like all INSO services, World Alert is only available to duly registered non-profit humanitarian organisations.
The first step to becoming an INSO World Alert member is to initiate the application process (see below). After a brief eligibility check of your organisation by INSO, you will be invited to create an organisational profile within INSO’s Partners Portal. Your global security or global programme director at HQ level should complete this process. The contact details within your organisational account will serve as INSO’s primary point of contact for your organisation. After completing the organisational profile your organisation's settings, such as adding World Alert recipient email addresses for other members of your organisation, can be managed by yourself within the Partners Portal at any time.
If your organisation already has a profile within INSO’s Partners Portal and you are operating in more than 3 countries with INSO presence, your organisation does not need further vetting to register for our services.
To be eligible for INSO services an organisation must meet all of the following criteria:
