INSO Ukraine coming soon
Following a scoping mission in March, the INSO Executive Group has approved the establishment of an INSO programme in Ukraine.

The decision is based on key findings including the ongoing instability and lack of humanitarian access in the East, the lack of existing security coordination resources and the rapidly expanding NGO presence.

During the first stage, INSO Ukraine will concentrate on delivery of primary emergency services including 24/7 Flash Alerts, Safety Coordination Meetings, Incident Tracking & Mapping and periodic Analytical Assessments.

INSO’s Emergency Response Operations facility will be arriving in the country this month and the recruitment of platform staff is nearly finalised.
