World Humanitarian Day 2020

This World Humanitarian Day we continue to call for the global humanitarian community to reinforce its commitment to ensuring the support, protection and safety of national staff.

Whether they are working for a National or International NGO, national staff form the majority of any NGOs workforce and are naturally the most vulnerable segment.

Between August 2019 and July 2020, they constituted 98% of all fatalities, 100% of injuries and 99% of abductions across the countries monitored by INSO.

They are #NotATarget.
