INSO is delighted to have been awarded the ECHO Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) today, making us eligible for direct funding from ECHO.

Prior to this award, INSO needed to work with an intermediary donor (often an FPA holding NGO) to access ECHO funds which added a layer of complication and cost to proposal development.

NGOs are eligible to apply for the FPA only after three years of consistently high operational performance and must demonstrate advanced levels of competency and professionalism in a variety of areas including governance, financial & administrative management, operational experience and humanitarian standards and principles.

"It is the quality, relevance and credibility of our organisation and programmes that ECHO has recognised with this decision today" said INSO Executive Director Nic Lee "and we can all be deeply proud of the work that has gone in to achieving this.
